Electrical Interlock

What is an Electrical Interlock? An  electrical interlock  is  a safety method used in electrical circuits  to make sure two devices or operations cannot work at the same time if it would be dangerous.  It works by stopping one circuit from turning on while another circuit is already running. This is usually done using auxiliary contacts in relays or contactors . For example, in a motor that can run forward or reverse, an electrical interlock ensures that the motor cannot run in both directions at the same time. This helps protect the equipment and keeps the system safe.
