A sensor is a device that detects and responds to some type of input from the physical environment. The input can be light, heat, motion, moisture, pressure or any number of other environmental phenomena.

Temperature Sensor ·

A temperature sensor is an electronic device that measures the temperature of its environment and converts the input data into electronic data to record, monitor, or signal temperature changes. T

Proximity Sensor ·

A proximity sensor is a device that can detect or sense the approach or presence of nearby objects and for this it does not need physical contact. 

Accelerometer ·

An accelerometer sensor is a tool that measures the acceleration of any body or object in its instantaneous rest frame. It is not a coordinate acceleration. Accelerometer sensors are used in many ways, such as in many electronic devices, smartphones, and wearable devices, etc.

IR Sensor (Infrared Sensor) ·

An infrared sensor (IR sensor) is a radiation-sensitive optoelectronic component with a spectral sensitivity in the infrared wavelength range 780 nm … 50 µm. IR sensors are now widely used in motion detectors, which are used in building services to switch on lamps or in alarm systems to detect unwelcome guests

Pressure Sensor ·

A pressure sensor is an electronic device that detects, regulates, or monitors pressure, and converts perceived physical data into an electronic signal.

Light Sensor ·

Light sensors are a type of photo detector (also called photo sensors) that detect light. Different types of light sensors can be used to measure IL luminance, respond to changes in the amount of light received, or convert light to electricity.

Ultrasonic Sensor

Ultrasonic sensors are used primarily as proximity sensors. They can be found in automobile self-parking technology and anti-collision safety systems. Ultrasonic sensors are also used in robotic obstacle detection systems, as well as manufacturing technology.

      PIR sensors are used in thermal sensing applications, such as security and motion detection. They are commonly used in security alarms, motion detection alarms, and automatic lighting applications.

      Flex sensors are common in different technological products, such as automotive and industrial controls, computer peripherals, joysticks, and measuring devices. These are also present in fitness products, musical instruments, and assistive technology systems of modern vehicles.

  What Is Alternating Current? An  alternating current  can be defined as a current that changes its magnitude and polarity at regular intervals of time. It can also be defined as an electrical current that repeatedly changes or reverses its direction opposite to that of Direct Current or DC, which always flows in a single direction as shown below From the graph, we can see that the charged particles in AC tend to start moving from zero. It increases to a maximum and then decreases back to zero completing one positive cycle. The particles then reverse their direction and reach the maximum in the opposite direction after which AC again returns to the original value completing a negative cycle.
